Rocky is one exceptional cat

I was never one for wasting time on all the cat pics and cat memes doing the rounds on the Internet. What a total waste of time! None of the supposedly funny cats ever did anything for me. I’ve always been more of a dog person myself. That’s until I found myself the owner of Rocky, a tabby kitten that somehow crawled into my truck and made himself at home.

At first I didn’t know what to do with him and wanted to drop him off at the nearest truck stop, find him a permanent home or something, but somehow it just never happened. Then we started getting along, Rocky got comfortable, and before I knew it I had a mate for life and wouldn’t think of getting rid of him. Funny thing is, cats are supposed to get attached to the place and be really bad at travelling. By all accounts, a dog would suit my line of work a lot better. Rocky is one exceptional cat, though. He’s been with me four years now, and he goes on all my runs with me in the truck cabin. He also goes into all the motel rooms at the stops, and makes himself at home in each and every one in ten seconds flat. I guess he’s used to this sort of life.

Life on the road is pretty lonely, and I have to take whatever entertainment I can get. Rocky is pretty fun to watch when he’s feeling playful. TV is usually crap, so just as well motel rooms have WiFi. This way I can place the odd bet at one of the microgaming casinos when I feel like it, which I’ve been into for a while. Just because I make decent money driving a truck doesn’t mean I have to waste it. You’ve got to look out for the best online casinos out there. Rocky is pretty good when I’m having a flutter at the microgaming casinos. He looks in on what I’m doing, and sometimes I could swear he’s trying to give me a tip. If he ever gets bored with me gambling, he just goes off and does his own thing, or falls asleep on the pillow. Rocky is always good fun and good company; he’ll give any of those funny cats a run for their money. In fact, he would wipe the floor with them in a fight. I’d rather watch him than cat memes any day.
