One rainy evening...

One rainy evening, in my log house made from whole tree trunks fitted together in an ingenious pattern, I lay around the house and listen to the rush of the stream in the back yard.  A family of stray cats lives out by the stream this year, and the four little kittens, one black cat, two grey, and a calico are constantly playing out in the yard by the stream. Because it’s raining today, I go outside to see if they want to take shelter on the old rug in front of the fire. And incredibly, they do! Now I’ll never hear the end of it from my wife Betty, because surely I won’t be able to kick them out again once they’ve taken up residence inside… But for tonight, she’s staying with our daughter nearby, so there no sound other than the crackle of the fire and the kitties playing fireside. I decide to work on some of my coloring for grown ups designs. I’m currently making a book of coloring for adults coloring pages featuring local vistas, and so tonight I draw out a beautiful scene featuring the cats and the fire. After I finish, I pull out a packet of mazes, like this one with solution, because I like to do me a good maze to keep the old neurons firing. Another way that I like to stay young is to count cards and win a few hands at the online casino games! I don’t get out to the actual casinos anymore like I used to, but when I sign into the online casino and play some casino games, I find the same thrill and excitement - and the same luck- that I used to enjoy when I first met my wife Betty at a casino house some 50 years ago now. Thrilling, isn’t it?
